    Hi,
    If you miss out a cipher – you don’t submit an answer – does that mean you are knocked out of the challenge?

    You are not knocked out of the challenge. Challenges 1 & 2 do not count towards the final leaderboard, so those are less important in some ways for the competition, but are very good to practice your code-breaking skills. After that, you can complete as many or as few of the challenges as you like, and still take part in later ones, but be aware the prize winners will have completed them all.

    So I just spent ages on 2B for no points?
    I thought it was a good idea to do those challenges so that I could have a headstart with points.
