Yes, it’s more of a concatenation than a reference – honestly, I’m more impressed if you got the cipher from that clue than if you got the cipher by analysis and research!

Those hints are so sublime, advice for people; you can get the cipher used from just these hints if you think about them hard enough, use resources and you’ll probably be kicking yourself when you know it! Still working on getting part A done, but proof here is that the type of cipher can be found from Joan’s hints!!
