    I know ive got like two hours left but does anyone know what type of cipher 5b is?

    i didn’t even realise there were hints! so glad we cracked it though (not much time to spare though whoops)

    Although the cipher was Beaufort, I actually solved as a Vigenere and then solved as a monoalphabetic substitution cipher with the key azyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcb since this meant I that I could use the tools I already had instead of making another one for the Beaufort cipher. Good luck with challenge 6.

    That was evil – reverse vigenere (especially evil as Beaufort isn’t on Wikipedia’s timeline of ciphers)

    what cipher was cipher 5 again? also check cipher 4. that’s a hint
