    A temporary patch for the bug that was stopping some people from submitting (a caching problem) also allowed a few non team captains to post submissions this afternoon. All submissions That has now been fixed, so from now on it should be the case that only logged in team captains see the submission box (and that they do see it!) All submissions for this round will be treated as valid so there is not a problem if someone else in your team submitted. Remember also that we consider all your submissions but only the best one counts.

    We are working on the mystery of the disappearing 1B box and hope to have a fix for you soon.

    On the format, it doesn’t matter as the formatting is stripped out before we mark your submission either way. (We say a bot more about this in the rules.)

    Did I mention that the Elves can get savage? I seem to think I at least hinted at it in the FAQ. Anyway, we might open up the forum to discuss this Monday(ish) as long as people don’t give too much away. I will let the Elves police it.

    There was an obscure bug which hid the box, but it is all fixed now and you should be able to submit. Apologies for the delay.
